Traditional hosting servers run applications in a linear design without extensive redundancy or scalability. The traditional method until now when hosting a server, web site or application is to place it in your office on a single computer. Although the hardware on this computer may have some limited redundancy such as a spare disk drive, it is inevitable to have some form of business disruption from: loss of power, exceeding the capacity of the computer or network, hardware failure, human error, or simply having a software crash. Each TurnKey Cloud Server is a virtual machine abstracted from the hardware. Our hypervisor system provides high performance, reliability, scalability, security and automated backups. New cloud servers are deployed in minutes and can be resized for more CPU, disk space or memory on demand.
CPU Bursting
TurnKeyCloud Servers come with a certain amount of CPU power based on the size of the servers you create. However, at times when there's extra CPU power available from the host hardware, we take advantage of it, providing your workloads extra processing power without any additional cost to you.
In-Place Resizing
Scaling up your TurnKeyCloud Server is simple -- there's no hardware to upgrade or software to reinstall. With the click of a mouse, your TurnKeyCloud Server is momentarily taken offline, the RAM, disk space and CPU allotment are adjusted, and the server is restarted. The entire process is automated and takes just a few minutes.
